This makes me Very happy!! First legwarmers, then zebra print scrunchies, now Jump Roping! Well not's PUNK roping and you can check it out below!

What’s Punk Rope?

Punk Rope is a playful mash-up of recess and boot camp, which blends creative calisthenics, group drills, and rope jumping with raise-the-roof music.

While Punk Rope is all about fun, it’s also extremely effective. You get the fitness benefits of an intense workout without the pain, suffering, and boredom.

Unlike most “cardio” classes, Punk Rope encourages participants to work at higher intensities for relatively short intervals, which research shows is more efficient. Punk Ropers can expect to improve their body composition (i.e., decrease body fat), bone density, aerobic and anaerbic capacity, coordination, agility, foot speed, balance, proprioception, timing, and strength.

Students come in all ages, shapes, sizes, and fitness levels.

Punk Rope happens in YMCAs, JCCs, parks & rec centers, health clubs, colleges, schools, private gyms, rock and roll clubs, skating rinks, art galleries, bowling alleys, city parks, and backyards.

For more information on Punk Rope classes and if they are offered at a location near you visit their website here!

Looks like it is not available in MN yet...anyone interested enough to change that??
