What’s Punk Rope?
Punk Rope is a playful mash-up of recess and boot camp, which blends creative calisthenics, group drills, and rope jumping with raise-the-roof music.
While Punk Rope is all about fun, it’s also extremely effective. You get the fitness benefits of an intense workout without the pain, suffering, and boredom.
Unlike most “cardio” classes, Punk Rope encourages participants to work at higher intensities for relatively short intervals, which research shows is more efficient. Punk Ropers can expect to improve their body composition (i.e., decrease body fat), bone density, aerobic and anaerbic capacity, coordination, agility, foot speed, balance, proprioception, timing, and strength.
Students come in all ages, shapes, sizes, and fitness levels.
