I know, I wasn't at FitBloggin' either!


But, that doesn't mean I didn't have a great healthy weekend and some social interaction! Today I am catching up with everyone's great time at the conference via the blogosphere.  As for me I did a bunch of Fit Bloggin'-esqe things all weekend so I didn't feel left out! 

My mom was visiting and we: 
  • Ate organic and WELL! 
  • Worked out
  • Tried a new recipe 
  • Ran around the city
  • Caught up on timely health topics! 
  • AND
  • Blogged! 

We went to LA Fitness which I have only been to one other time. I did a class that I MAY end up being an instructor for...we will see. I am really impressed with LA Fitness over all, it's a really nice facility!

We did some shopping in downtown Minneapolis and stopped to say hey to Mary Tyler Moore! 
Who can turn the world on with her smile? 


We used Arnold's Sandwich Thins to make open faced eggplant parmesan! 
We ate SO good all weekend... 


We drank green monsters and talked a lot about the benefits of Chia seeds and read up on how good spinach is for you!


We read some articles on the connection between fitness and our brains. We learned some balance exercises increase memory and movements like aerobics that incorporate complex motor movements keeps us sharp mentally! 


Then we made Angela's Gluten Free Chewy Crackers!
They were really easy to make and very savory. Mom tries to eat gluten free when she can and has a love for all things crackers, so these were perfect for us to learn to make so she can use this recipe instead of buying processed crackers! 



Today, we have some errands to run and some business to take care of, but it is a beautiful day and will be getting a walk in! I hope you had a great healthy weekend whether or not you were at Fit Bloggin 10!
