Happy Tuesday you guys! For some reason, this week feels like it's going to be fast and furious. Do you ever have days like that?? On Sunday, I had NOTHING in my planner. Even for a weekend that is unheard of, there was white space!! See it..? Wow.
I spent Saturday night at Jen's house for a wine and apps party! It was a ton of fun, I made GARLIC cheesy bread with fresh chives, goat cheese and parmesan. It was epic!
1 loaf of french bread sliced
5 oz. of soft goat cheese
2 T. fresh chopped chives
1 clove crushed fresh garlic
1/4 C. Parmesan
pepper to taste
Mix the garlic, goat cheese and chives together while you are toasting the bread at 350 for 10 min. Remove the bread from the oven, spread the cheese mixture over each piece and sprinkle the parmesan evenly over all the pieces. Pepper lightly to taste and place under broiler for 1-2 min! Serve and enjoy!
Lovin the toaster oven!!
There were BLOGGERS everywhere!! I wonder why? :) Erin, Ann, Lindsay, Sam and of course Jen! We all had a ton of fun talking and playing the X-Box Kinect. When I walked in, I didn't know what everyone was WATCHING in the living room. It was a video game, but no ordinary one. Everyone was dancing to Dance Central using the X-Box Kinect which meant, no controllers!!
I was impressed, I don't really like video games, I am not very good at them. BUT, I love dancing and I loved this. I could not believe how fun it was and challenging too! I was working up a sweat with every dance we did! Jen joked at the end of the night about wearing her heart rate monitor to track calories burned!
I bet there were a few appetizers gone out the window with the moves we were pulling. It was a blast and a great way to groove and MOVE for your health at the same time.
The guys got into the dancing as much as the ladies did, but at the end of the night, a few boxing matches broke out. It was a blast to watch! They were having a ton of fun.
C&C all rough and tough with the boxing game
Erin, Jen and I taking it easy!
Have you played the X-Box Kinect?? Do you like it or the games it has better than the Wii? I don't own any gaming systems, but I liked this one a lot!! Good luck with your week--remember to break your goals into little steps and check those off one by one!
