Getting it...vitamins and vision





Are YOU getting it? 


I am in NEED of it. 
Vitamin D, my friend. 


Fine,  so there are more ways to get Vitamin D than JUST basking in the sun. But that's what I am looking for as we have are coming into April and I know I won't be really able to soak up the rays till at least mid May.  It was a LONG, cold and very snowy winter in Minneapolis, and I had a little extra help getting my much needed vitamin D.   

Vitamin D aids in: 

Cell Growth 
immune function
combating depression
boosting mood
reducing inflammation &
helping us absorb calcium! 

Vitamin D is found in many dietary sources such as: 
 fish, eggs, fortified milk, and cod liver oil. 

The sun also contributes significantly to the daily production of vitamin D, and as little as 10 minutes of exposure is thought to be enough to prevent deficiencies. (thanks Mayo!) I have been really diggin' the eggs lately, but in March, also added in this Vitamin D supplement from Rainbow Light! 


High potency to fight sadness, gray skies and tired bodies!!


I feel like 30+ days of one a day Vitamin D really has made a difference. Finally, real spring is here and summer is right around the corner, which means SUN and FUN. Other supplements that I take include:  a Multi Vitamin, fish oil and Glucosamine Chondraoitin for joint health. I can always tell a difference when I am taking all my supplements and when  I am not. 

What do you take to add to your hopefully already healthy diet? 

Vision Boards: 

On a side note, I think my vision boards are cluttering up the view from my desk!! 

I have three larger ones, but moved them to right over my desk and now, I feel like it's too busy. Although I can read each one clearly and see the goals (many of which are still relevant) I feel like the visual may be too overwhelming for a feeling of being centered. 

the one in the upper right is my "current" one. 

I wanted them all in front of me, but think I will have to move the least current ones away. Mine are themed for certain seasons of my life. I feel like there are still relevant goals on my second to last and don't know where to put it! 


Thoughts??
