Ragnar Announcement & Planning

Sorry I have been a little MIA this past week, Summer's start is a busy time for me!

I am thrilled though about all that is going on, work, clients, my other job, all is moving FULL force ahead! I am also thrilled with my training program, remember the split days I am doing? Well, I am still seeing major results and couldn't be happier!!  I will post some (controversial) before and after pics, after my after is really after. Got that?

On a majorly FUN note, I am going to run Ragnar! Yes, that crazy, 24 hour, woman of steel road race is on my plate for August!
I am running Legs, 8, 20 and 32 on a team called "Girls Just wanna have Fun!" The miles are 7.9, 6.2 and 4.8! Hard, Hard and moderate for a total of 18.9! I am SO excited, time to get rolling. Have you heard of Ragnar? Have you done one near your city? Would you?? Everyone I talk to who has taken part, LOVES it. Crafting my training plan soooooon..

Planned Workouts!
This week I am planning on getting some darn good gym time and pavement time in!
Do you read, Fit Chick in the City? She is blogger and personal trainer from NYC and she is challenging us to a Say it, Do it week! Plan your workouts, say it, post it and be held accountable, and I am in!

Monday: Run 5, lift shoulders and triceps
Tuesday: Tabata, lift Legs
Wednesday: HIIT, sprints on the treadmill
Thursday: Lift Chest, Biceps
Friday: Lift Back, cross train (bike 6-10)
Saturday: Run 6
Sunday: total rest

Let's see if I can stick to it! This is starting week FIVE of my new workout routine and instead of changing it to work the body parts on two days, I am going to change the number of SETS. I was doing 3 sets of 3 exercises, I am going to change that to 5 sets this week and see my results!! This is FUN!

Have a great start to your week, I hope you check out Fit Chick and do the Say it, Do it with us! Accountability is a priceless key to success!
